Seeking the Heart Within: Ourselves and Our Sanghas
A Daylong Retreat with Bonnie O’Brien Jonsson and Richard Shankman
Saturday, October 6, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
Berkeley Fellowship Hall
1924 Cedar St (at Bonita)
Berkeley, CA
In our busy life it is a rare gift to be able to STOP and BREATHE. Come join together as one community for a day of retreat, which Webster's dictionary defines as “a period of retirement or seclusion especially for spiritual renewal.”
On this day we will practice together to restore the inner balance of right inward measure. Through periods of sitting and walking practice we will take refuge in Buddha-nature, Dharma teaching, and the community of like-minded people.
Bonnie and Richard co-teach the Wednesday night Vipassana Community in Berkeley.
The suggested donation for the day is $25 plus dana for the teachers. No one will be turned away. Pre-registration is strongly recommended.
To register, print and follow the instructions on the
flyer and registration form.
